Is my Google Business Profile good?
Use this free grader to find out, in minutes, instead of guessing from your rating alone. Customers see your Google Business Profile before they see your website, and they decide from your hours, services, reviews, photos, and website speed.
Think of this as a free Google Business Profile checker: it shows what a customer sees, and what is missing, before they decide to call. Google Business Profile was formerly called Google My Business, so this is also a Google My Business grader, under the current name.

Why is my business not showing up on Google?
Google shows businesses based on relevance, distance, and prominence. If you are asking why am I not showing on Google Maps, start with the same six checks, and check your name, address, and phone consistency first.
Relevance
How well your profile matches what someone searched for. Accurate categories, services, and a clear description help.
Distance
How far your business is from the person searching. No tool or fix can change this part.
Prominence
How well known your business looks online, from reviews, photos, and mentions on other sites.
This grader cannot change distance, but it can show the parts you can control: profile completeness, reviews, photos, and website speed. Fix those first, before anything more advanced.
What a Google Business Profile audit checks
This free Google Business Profile audit checks six things a customer sees before they call you. Your Google Business Profile score is out of 100, based on the six checks below. The score is AchieveRank’s own assessment, not a Google-issued grade.
Profile completeness
Your name, category, hours, services, description, and attributes should all be filled in. The grader also checks that your name, address, and phone match between your profile and your website.
Reviews and rating
Your review count and star rating are often the first thing a customer compares. Replies matter too, because they show you listen.
Review momentum
Are new reviews still coming in, or did they stop? Recent reviews tell a customer the business is active today. The grader uses the reviews available to the scan.
Photos
Real, recent photos of your work, team, and storefront help a customer trust what they see. A profile with only a logo leaves them guessing.
Website speed
The grader tests your website on mobile and desktop with Google PageSpeed Insights. A slow page can lose a customer before it loads. If yours needs work, see our website speed and mobile design service.
Nearby competitors
The grader compares your reviews and ratings with up to 10 nearby businesses. This is a comparison of profile data, not search positions or a map rank.
How it works
Find your business
Enter your business name or website link, then select your business from the list.
We score it
We run a free GMB audit on your public profile and website, and give you a score out of 100. The live scan checks your profile details, nearby businesses, and your website on mobile and desktop.

Your score shows the gaps. Work them in this order.
Your Google Business Profile score shows the gaps. If you are not getting calls from Google, it is often not one big problem. It is a few small gaps: an incomplete profile, old reviews, no recent photos, or a slow website.
Complete your profile
Keep your name, category, hours, services, and description accurate, and the same everywhere. Customers get the answers they need without calling to ask.
How to get more Google reviews, without faking them
Ask every real customer after a completed job, send a direct review link, and reply to every review. Do not buy or fake reviews. Steady, honest reviews give new customers a reason to trust you.
Add real photos weekly
Post finished jobs, your team, and your storefront, not only a logo. Fresh photos show customers the business is active.
Speed up your website
Most local searches happen on phones, so a slow page can lose a ready customer. Compress images and trim heavy scripts so your pages open quickly.

Questions before you start?
Is it really free?
Yes. The free Google Business Profile grader is free to use, and you can see your score without buying any AchieveRank service. Email verification is required to unlock your full Google Business Profile report, the fix simulator, and the downloadable report.
What does the grader check?
Six things: profile completeness, reviews and rating, review momentum, photos, website speed, and nearby competitors. Each one is explained in the section above.
How to audit a Google Business Profile?
A Google Business Profile audit tool should check profile completeness, reviews, photos, website speed, and nearby competitors, in that order. Whether you call it a GMB audit or a GBP audit, the checks are the same: profile, reviews, photos, speed, and nearby competitors. This grader runs those checks for you and gives you a score out of 100.
Do I need to sign up to see my score?
No. No sign-up is required to see your Google Business Profile score, and there is no sales call. Email verification is only for the full report.
Where does the data come from?
Public business information from Google Places, and website speed from Google PageSpeed Insights. Google may provide only a sample of reviews and photos, so scores reflect the data available when the scan runs. This is not a Google-issued grade, and it is not a complete audit.
Why do you verify my email?
A code confirms that you can access the email address you entered, before the full report is provided.
What if I have no website, or multiple locations?
You can still grade a business with no website. The website speed check scores zero, and the name, address, and phone match with your website is skipped. Each scan grades one Google listing, so run a separate scan for each location.
Will this fix my rankings overnight?
No. The report shows what to improve, but it does not change your profile or website, and results take real work. Local visibility also depends on distance and competition. If you are not showing on Google Maps, the report shows what to check first.
